Not sure what these screenshots are about specifically and can't say I care, but I would agree our fan base certainly has its fair share of absolute lemons. There seems to be this weird culture where people have to take such polarising views on things in an attempt to 'cut through'. It's a pretty sorry indictment of society more generally, but certainly is of football. If a player has a bad game they should 'never play for us again' or they're a pub player. Edwards is a Sunday league player, KVY should have his contract torn up for being injured and Judge should never play for the team again.
The incessant abuse some players get is so OTT, and it's certainly not something unique to Ipswich. Judge is probably as close as we have to it here, every time a line up is announced he's lambasted, which is also utterly at odds with his recent performances too, especially as he's looked one of a handful who actually give a sh1t this season, alongside the likes of Huws and Nolan who have rarely shown a b0llock between them. The bloke went through a rough spell, lost his mother, he's dealing with being a Covid parent like many are, and the abuse he gets is disgusting frankly, probably from the same people that will be retweeting #bekind the next time a Caroline Flack ends her life. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but the extent of the negativity is shocking, frankly. He's one of OUR players FFS.

RKG blocked me for making a joke about Keane after a loss (not even a vicious one) and claiming I wasn’t a proper supporter. Then it turned out she wasn’t even Ipswich but ManU with a Roy Keane obsession. Then as the Keane Out chants got louder she pretty much slagged off the entire club. Weird times!

Anyway, there’s a small group of fans always ready and willing to take the piss. Some of it’s funny some of it is borderline uncalled for.

Glad to hear it, the TT guys put out some decent stuff but it is a bit content overload at times - they are still relatively new so will settle down I'm sure - the more content the better as far as i'm concerned but the petty squabbles don't add much | |
