Has he gone yet? (n/t) on 17:13 - Feb 10 with 998 views | MattinLondon | If we lose on Saturday then I’m pretty confident that he’ll be sacked soon after that. I’m so confident that I’ll stake my non existent reputation on here that this will be the case.

Are we talking 'soon' in the human or geological sense of the word?

I don't think the result on Saturday is relevant at all. If this was a performance related issue, it has gone way beyond it. The sticking point surely has to be contract related.

No, Shrewsbury will be the final straw. Defeat against an unglamorous and small team (even by L1 standards) will what cause Evans to sack Lambert. Plus Evans had had a dislike for Shrewsbury for making Hurst look good. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Lose Saturday and the whole thing is largely redundant really. The new manager would have to turn us from mid-table fodder into 2-points-a-game-league-champions form overnight, even to sneak us into the play-offs.

A competent-plus manager will easily be able to take the club into the playoffs.

6 games ago I think it's a relatively easy task. Now? I think it's a very difficult one.
