The bloke really is as thick as sh1t. He can barely string a sentence together, aside from the customary 'really, really good' when he can be bothered to attend a post match. I don't even think it's a cynical thing and that he's being deliberately obtuse, I think he's just a fecking moron. I really do, there's nothing behind the very weak and transparent façade.
He's seen nothing but a decade of failure as a manager, and nothing but regression in his time here. 11th in League 1 ffs. He's got the tools to do a good job here relative to his peers at this level, and he's made a complete c0ck up of it. The worrying thing for me is that he does things that he thinks only he can see as a professional that not only don't work, it's obvious to us feckwits on here that they aren't going to work. He seems to genuinely be less tactically astute than half this board, that is about as damning as it gets. |  |
