Not sure why Mick Mills and Brenner are so down on us tonight. 19:47 - Feb 16 with 673 viewsDarth_Koont

Looks like the same shapeless group of strangers it’s always been.

Feel sorry for the players – they’re working hard, making runs for each other but they’re still trying to work out what everyone’s meant to be doing.

Lambert out.

This is the worse I've seen from us this season.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Agreed. We’ve placed like strangers before but this is something else. We normally look like we’ve met that morning - tonight we look as though we weren’t introduced until 7pm.

it's actually somehow worse than other poor performances. it's just shambolic

That's a hugely generous assessment in my opinion.

Should probably be 2 down.

Awful and unacceptable. What on earth is this team? How is it building for the future? Where is the squad we are supposed to have? Jackson not even in the squad when available is madness.

Total rubbish.

Probably because it's bloody Northampton. No disrespect to them but they should be cannon fodder.

Of course. It’s mid-February and we’re playing an almost entirely new team.

But this has been us all season with new players and new combinations expected to hit the ground running.

Sure, but our lack of cohesion is what’s making Northampton look good too.

If it was right to put those new players out at the beginnning then I hope Lambert knows how to get them playing over half-time. But I’m guessing we just chuck on new players and hope they sort it out.

Hard to see what Harrop and Thomas bring so far. Harrop seems to be yet another midfielder charged with bringing the ball safely back into our own half, then laying it off to defenders. Expect a slice of fortune for Town to undo Northampton's spirited work so that we can be reported from within as the success that nobody is witnessing.
