The club was mediocre.... on 10:46 - Feb 25 by Pendejo
Using the word "Complacent" would appear indicate the fans had any control over anything.
Collectively (the majority) placed their (blind) faith in the owner, manager, coaching staff and the players to bring us straight back.
The only tangible thing that the fans can do is provide support; be that vocal and / or financial - which we did
Then when it became clear to the majority that we were flattering to receive the overall mood changes.
Let's face it even when we were top we did not look like a decent team, the others were simply worse than us.
Bravo to those who never got in line behind PRP, but then I spoke to town fans in 2014/15 who were not behind MM, and if I'm honest, having grown up with Robson's teams, enjoyed Lyall, loved Burley, I could see their point. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
But then on this very website, turn back the clock to 1998 and there were those exposing Burley's shortfalls.
It's really easy to not get behind an ITFC manager. 9 times out of 10 you'll be proved right. I'm thinking of booing the next one as soon as he's appointed so I can look like a kool kid on TWTD.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Great effort at trying to find something but not sure what this tells you? This was Dec 18, of course we should be supporting
I have never said we shouldn't support I just found it baffling that the suppory was so heavily geared towards the bloke that was failing us opposed to the club. Singing ipswich till I die is great support but singing PL is a blue when he has limply relegated us is tin pot
HAHA BACKTRACK-TASTIC.

Rommy is young and naive but you are a grown up. It is embarrassing that you can't join the dots that an owner can't be kicked out, let alone at owner currently bank rolling the club. The other answer was to shut the club down, as much as you like to sing against Ipswich with norwich and you come across as a budgie I don't think you want the club shut down
The weird Lambert reference didn't work the other times either, if we are looking at failure on here you are top 5
Sounds like you're gearing up for your next banning. How many strikes is Phil giving you until you're permanently gone?

Yep, no revisionism needed here. You, and a few others made it pretty clear at the time.
Personally, I can deal with the 'cringey' side of it, and I understand the 'keep supporting' mantra too. The problem is the fans who kept singing PL is a blue, and refused to accept the fact he'd done absolutely nothing constructive on the pitch.
I warned people on here at the time, Lambert relegated us without an ounce of fight or anything, yet people kept seeing what they wanted to see.
And if people like it or not, those who kept singing support for Lambert that day have become part of the problem that's seen us keep him for 2 more failures in a row.
What did you do/are you doing to get rid of him?
