so will not be replying as will be busy playing football and wrestling with my kids!

I'd like to apologise to anyone who has been offended, Im just defending myself people just tend to call out tory voters as scum racist, I am a tory voter but i am not a racist, i voted remain. This is why i try and not talk about politics on here as it just escalates and gets heated. End of the day i have no problem with labour voters everyone should vote for who they like.

Anyway end of the matter have a good weekend everyone lets hope Town win tom

As I said, not everyone who votes Tory is racist and stupid. Some are are just stupid.

And how would you describe people who vote Labour then.

Been a great decade, hasn't it? More money in my pocket, greater freedoms and workers' rights. An outward-looking, modern Britain. That's about to become a tax haven and deregulate the economy even further.

It's a boom time for the working class.

Probably exasperated at the manner in which so many of their fellow citizens insist on cutting their own noses off to spite their faces?

Sick of being blamed for all the world's ills despite not having a sniff of power in an eternity?

So people who vote to make themselves worse off are stupid or not? I can't tell.

Or maybe you can tell me all the good things the Tories have done for the majority of British people in the last decade. Surely there must be some achievements in that time?

In the arms length environmental defra organisation I work for our funding is down 40% and staff numbers down 30% over the last decade. Now we have the extreme populist version with the press in their pocket we’ll be fed bs and lies for coming years and as uk contracts to just england I fear they’ll be in for ever. Especially as they somehow continue to garner support from the likes of some on here. It beggars belief.

Yet again the Labour Party members have picked the wrong leader. Starmer has no charisma whatsoever. He doesn't hit a chord with the electorate. He shows no passion whatsoever. Yes that shouldn't matter and the party he represents and their policies should matter but sadly a huge number of the electorate don't see that. And what are the Labour Party policies? We have the worse government in living memory yet the Labour Party are still behind them in the polls. That says it all. If Labour had a leader who could connect with the people it would be totally different. Sadly they don't and i say sadly because ive voted Labour more than anyone else through my life.

I don't disagree with any of that at all.

Would I still vote Labour to oust the Conservatives though?

Heck yes.

Sell the Labour Party to us all then. Go on. Instead of silly one liners. Forget the Tories, dont mention them, just tell us all about the Labour Partys wonderful policies that the electorate have all heard about. I want the Labour Party to succeed i really do but this lot and their wooden leader haven't got a prayer.

I tend to agree. When are Labour going to actually stand as a party and not a two parties in one trying to slap each other about?

While the SNP rule the roost in Scotland - Labour will never succeed. SNP and Labour should be mending as many bridges as they can and forge a path forward - or else we'll keep sleepwalking toward backbencher Tories crashing our country into tribalism hell.
