Jimmy Walker gone... on 12:47 - Apr 15 by Coco | There's nothing intrinsically wrong with it, it's just a little 'tin-pot' isn't it? The big, proper coaches/managers don't constantly harp on about their favourite clubs - just those lower league players who know they will never get there. |
True but when he is tweeting at night, after his work for the day is done, what harm does it seriously do? If we are at the point where we are stopping staff tweeting about things they enjoy/support in their spare time, because we need them to be "absolutely devoted" or whatever to us, that is ridiculous IMO. The majority of them are not there because they love Town, they are there because it's a job. Same as every football club.

Town boss Paul Cook spoke with Jimmy this morning and Blues will now look to recruit a new goalkeeping coach, with Academy ‘keeper coach Carl Pentney stepping up to the role for the interim period. Thanks SuperCoops, I didn’t get a chance to read the article just responded to the thread on the forum....I should’ve done, would’ve answered my own question.

Not impressed at all by his 'Jack the lad' drunken antics on Twitter. I hear he was also very chummy with players, which is never very professional as a coach.

Jimmy Walker gone... on 10:39 - Apr 15 by PhilTWTD | Richardson sounds increasingly likely to stay at Wigan, so might have to be someone else for the assistant manager's role. Maybe one of the others you mention. Not sure how big a staff he'll want and only room for so many first-team coaches, so wouldn't surprise me if Gill does go in the summer. Nice bloke as others have said. He may well want to try his hand at managing himself, that has long been his ambition. |

I doubt he would be interested as he wanted to return to Scotland for his family.
