Although it's a bit odd that he thinks he can coach a 28 year-old, technically-limited League 1 winger but doesn't feel he can improve the likes of Woolf, Downes, Dozzer, Bish, Dobs, and Lankester. I do find the offering of a new contract to Edwards a bit baffling when you look at who we're seemingly not arsed about keeping. |

It's possible, but they've all played under multiple managers and all of those managers have selected them so not sure there's a big attitude problem there. Impossible to say for certain but I'd be surprised if that's the big issue. |  |

Dobra is the sort of player we should be keeping and developing , Edwards has had long enough to improve , but not done it .

But has he been coached in the time he’s been here? If he stays it will be interesting to see how his game improves with some coach8ng and (hopefully) some better players around him. |  |
