I’ve done plenty of biking, but that’s new to me. The only thing I’ve found essential is, er well, a bike. |
Some of those saddles on TT bikes are not exactly padded, and any slight imbalance can be very discomforting - especially if anything gets caught under the sunroof.... |  |

me too. I'm the hirsute type, and i hate any suggestions of body hair shaving or body hair shaming come to that. I'm also a keen cyclist, and hairy bollox have never caused me an issue. I've inadvertently sat on then a few times, which is a much bigger issue |  | | |

Guy I knew was a good level rugby player in New Zealand, he told a story of his team mate. Said team mate was sat nude on a bench after a shower and it was one of those slatted benches with 3 slats and gaps between each. He sat down, towelled his hair, went to stand up and left one of his plums behind in the gap between slats. Can you imagine? Perhaps if he’d shaved he would have smoothly slipped through. | |
