I think we have to make them pariahs, make them socially unacceptable until they can behave like normal people.
- Get really tough on racist posts and comments - Get really tough on public order offences
For those found guilty - Remove their passports so they can't travel and embarrass us abroad - Ban them from being able to buy tickets to events (sport, music, fesitvals etc)
Something also needs to be done about the alcohol culture. It affects people in different ways, most are fine and it makes them more fun and sociable. For me it makes me sleepy and irritable (not violent or abusive), so I don't bother with it. No idea how we go about tackling that though !

Actually you sound like a genuine centrist. Unlike the ones against tax rises and for free markets, against equality and for “equality of opportunity”, against environmental and minority movements but for the planet and people etc. etc.
They’re basically soft Tories not the Labour right. And the most important thing is that they want the status quo intact.

I have confronted racists at football grounds before, not Portman Road, only to find myself in trouble with stewards or police. Until we all shout it out, it will sadly continue.
