Chrismakin are you like me unconvinced because he failed to get his old mucker Liam Richardson in as his assistant, it seems like he is a little lost with the finer points of team building ie tactics / shape and formation changes .

So where do we go from here? Roberts and the Kitman are a waste of space, no coaching experience between them. That leaves Jeffers who was U23 coach at Everton, not 1st team, but at least with some experience. Cook proves by the week that he is incapable of doing it himself. Ashton either insists Cook has an experienced AM or get rid of him, I prefer the latter. The pre match dancing queen gives me no confidence going forward.

I'm a hundred per cent because he didn't get Richardson, said that a few times, as I said, clough/ tayor, lambert/ culverhouse, no good on their own, you can add Cook to that no Richardson, no party,

Oh stop being so sore that for the umpteenth time on this forum you've shown absolutely zero football knowledge despite your pompous attitude suggesting the opposite.

I'm not sore, I don't given a monkeys what a weird stalker thinks. All I've advocated for Cook is to be given time. Not sure that's particularly football knowledge but you seem very desperate to win something on the internet. Given that Cook is still here you're rather premature in this crowing anyway.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

It's difficult

PC has success before Leam. He took Leam under his wing and guided him to where he is now and Leam is managing a side put together by PC and ex PC players ( and a few non ones too of course)

But what I'm struggling to understand is how PC isn't fixing the obvious issues that everyone can see in regards to fullback space. The way Evans is playing isn't anything like he did at Wigan under PC either, you'd see him alot further forward in more phases.

Altho it's a brand new side. It's just not looking like a PC unit. Is it coaching. Is it individuals not buying into it. Is it PC feeling the pressure and unable to resolve it.

Honestly I'm not sure. We've gone from individual errors to overall disjointment despite a further 2 weeks of training.

Stalker? I've rarely acknowledged your existence. You're not that important fella

I’m very much Cook in, I think he’s got enough about himto turn it round with the squad we have but the one thing he’s got wrong is the assistant manager gig. Best thing he could do is get McGreal to sign a deal to end of season

I think so many put so much into believing that Cook was finally the 'second' coming' that fans have been waiting for, for nearly two decades that there is a great reluctance to see things as they currently are.

If Lambert had been given the opportunity to clear out pretty much the whole squad and this was what was being delivered after 7 competitive games this and the ground would be in uproar.

Morsy is now the 'Prince over the water'. A man to single handedly put things to right and be that missing piece of the jigsaw that will finish the hitherto unrecognised picture.

Fans have convinced themselves that we have spent millions assembling the finest squad LI has seen for many a long year. Yet the reality is that as a whole they are failing, just as individually they are not coming anywhere near that accolade. Some maybe it can be argued, but not enough to have us consistently picking up points.

So the excuses pile up, they have yet to gel, they lack confidence (absolute nonsense) and cook is still to work out the right formation/best eleven.

Yesterday was woeful, with the opposition yet again sensing that we were there for the taking, and did so. Edmundson looked like he had won a game in a supporters raffle, KVY looked like he did not want to be there (marking his man) and Walton seems no better than the East European pair (Holy Shi t).

What if's can always point to a result being different - but the overall quality over these games is not one that suggests a top six place, never mind 'promotion by Xmas'. We won't be this far down by Xmas, with or without Cook, but I have serious doubts whether we will be in the Championship this time September 2022.

He's on a massive PR drive to get himself noticed. Not our fault we've never noticed him before which is odd if he talks so much sense.

Don't need noticing. Certainly not by a load of posters who seem to get every objective football opinion wrong. I don't post that often in all fairness, the last couple days have primarily been frustration because I saw it all coming and said as such last season. If only people could actually open their eyes when watching football.
