We still haven't won a game against a decent side - still Cook Out for me 21:37 - Oct 30 with 3592 viewsNeedhamChris

We're 1/3 of the way through the season and 60% of our wins have come against teams in the relegation zone, with 'statement' wins against the 12th and 13th place sides.

We seem to win when the individual sum of our parts is enough to put a poor side away, but when we need some tactical nous or a Plan B we've got nothing. We're still faring worse than we were under Lambert. That's on Cook and the coaching staff.

For those of you who are still sold on the journey - what are you seeing that I'm not? This season is just drifting away into nothingness.

Even if we make the playoffs and lose I still think he'll be gone. Forget what has been said, it's promotion or the sack imho.

As i keep saying if cook leaves so does half the team and this is the 1st season where i have enjoyed watching us play win draw or lose we score goals and always have a chance of winning, we are competitive in most games, my question to those who want him sacked is who would replace him ?

We're 7 points off the play offs. That is a terrible failure right now and i'm not excusing it but we've seen enough recently to give Cook a bit more time. With this squad we should be able to make that up quickly. If we fall further behind then the club will have a decision to make.

Oh and just to be clear I am not suggesting the play offs were the target and trying to rewrite our pre-season expectations. The play offs were very much the plan b. Right now Cook is failing and probably only has the league games you can count on a Norfolk hand before we start sounding out other options.

Who would you bring in and how would that help? Top scorers in the league and improving all the time.

Welcome to the franchise.

It's not that different from the last time the club did an abrupt U-turn and sold itself down the river. Magilton had a team on the fringe of the play-offs, before a high interest loan was used to infuse expensive strangers into the mix and I don't think the team has been as good at any time since, despite, allegedly, £100 million - and counting.

Just think in twelve years time Town could be 'in touch with the play offs in the 4th division if history continues to repeat itself.

We are 6th in the form table and that's with 4 away games.
We narrowly lost away to top of the league with several first teamers missing, we are the top scorers in the league, 3rd highest possession - all of that we couldn't have dreamed of under previous managers.

With a whole new squad the second half of this season was always going to be better than the first half, we just had to hope we'd be in a position where promotion was still possible and we are.

Yes, not good enough. Dont get all the hype over Cook. He is a one trick pony. Wont or cant change systems. The defense needs sorting badly in January and we need a defensive coach.
