Not sure I agree with that.
They were for the first 10 minutes but after that I think we had the upper hand with them occasionally hitting on the break and their best chance came from a misplaced pass.
We also hit the post twice.
Don't think we need to be down on the team after that half. Good first half from Clements.

Wouldn't really say there has been a better side personally. Equal attacking moments, both sides have had their opportunities and both have had weak areas.

We really, really need two centre backs confident on the ball, so we can play a possession game higher up the pitch. Otherwise we're constantly counter-attacking, which we are nevertheless pretty good at, and defending on the back foot, which we're not that great at. |  |

We improved on the ball in the second half & were the better side until a horribly disjointed last 20 minutes, with Oxford players going down at every opportunity, encouraged by a weak referee. Not a bad result against a decent side. Town are now harder to beat, but need to improve further if the play offs are to be a realistic target. | |

Oxford had the initial 20 mins of the game but then we took more and more control. I can’t remember Walton having to make a significant Dave yet we’ve hit the post twice ! Oxfords gamesmanship ( I’d take that as a compliment to us ) was more a reflection on their inability to make any headway against us . |  |
