Dear god.
Bizarely he's right, though not sure about his times.
On bbc weather last week the weather lady explained that the nights would get dark later from that day, due to the tilt of the earth. My brain isnt big enough to work it out, but she seemed to know what she was on about.

Dear god.
I’ve no idea how you managed to be so restrained there.
Although sunrise and sunset times are a bit odd. Yesterday here in Swansea sunrise was 20 minutes later that on 1st December. Yet sunset was only 2 minutes earlier. Why’s it asymmetrical? Maybe Guthers, Steve_M or another trivia guru will know? Or maybe it’s just because we put the street lights on at the same time each evening 🤪?

Massive upvote for this.
Each day from here gets a bit better imo. I don't mind the cold, but the darkness at this time of year really gets me down.
Especially when the sun doesn’t break through, the older I get the more depressing it feels. Love a winters day when the suns out and it’s fresh and crisp..but just feels too far and few between these days.

Never thought I'd have to say this to you or BL, but ... "read the thread"
