Mate of mine reckons... on 18:04 - Jan 9 by eireblue
OMG, if the rumour I heard is true, I really have to praise wkj on keeping this quiet. I would be milking this despite the reason that it has been delayed is due to……well that will be obvious once it is announced.
Well worth the wait, I'm starting to understand why they've waited on announcing it.

Once this bombshell drops it's going to prove all wkj's doubters wrong, that's for sure. How do I know that? A friend well-connected to the club told me.
That friend's name? wkj.
But I'll leave it there.

One of Walton/ Bonne has signed permanently, and the reason they are waiting is because they want to get the other one done to announce both at the same time
Have I just made this up in my head? yes. But ill be very sad if it doesn't happen

Would you still class him as a mate ?
Very much a mate. Something has happened - but for some reason those folks at Haskerton Legal have placed some pretty strong NDAs down on announcing it.
More twists than a pretzel factory - but WKJ will be the first to let the world know when he can.

Well compared to some posters I could mention, I am not at all bored, and rather excited by all of this.
If it helps, I know roughly how many twists a pretzel has, if you give me the production capacity of the factory, happy to help people quantify exactly how twisty this could get.

Used to buy a quarter of them and quarter of Kola Cubes of a Friday evening to take to Cubs.
Was I going to pay extortionate tuck shop prices before crab football practice? Was I 'eck.
If the bonne-bonnes are of good enough quality, then you have to be ready to part with the dosh there footers. Sad state of affairs really when you see all the asbo crew getting wet trousers about the price of Freddos. Our generation with real sweets has been lamenting the cost of cola cubes for 2 generations now.
Leave the chocolatey frogs to the boys, real men eat cubes.

You’re absolutely spot on there. Cola cubes and pear drops were the higher units of exchange for our lunchtime middle school poker sessions. Base units were sherbet pips.
It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
