No, you don't. Only rule is that each guess must be a valid word. Often worth going with other letters to narrow it down. E.g. On one go, I got to 4th guess, knew 4 letters and knew it was one of 3 or 4 words. So, rather than guess one of those words, I guessed a word using 3 of those 4 letters to see which one the missing letter was. Meant I definitely got it on the 6th guess instead of possibly not.
Have used the archived version to do the first 50 and only failed to get it on 1 go. |  |
