I’ve never said he was dangerous? I’d say the total Opposite, harmless like your grandpa.. asking have you seen his glasses, and they are on his head ..

So "doesn't fill you with confidence" means there's nothing to worry about and he is going to be no problem at all to anyone. OK got you.

All your criticisms of him are of his age though. I mean seriously.

I don't like the term 'You're better than that' because I think it's patronising, but I really think you are normally so am a bit surprised.

I would like to see a younger more progressive replacement step up, but at the moment am just grateful he's not his predecessor.

Yea, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying he’s a bad president, just that with the current situation, it could really do with someone who it rolls Off the tongue, sounds like they mean business, I just find him a bit lightweight, and confused at times. Unfortunately it is an age issue..

Sometimes it’s not Always about what your saying, but how you say it, that can hammer the point home, if you get my meaning..

His sanctions are going to speak a lot louder than his words. But yes, he’s not a dynamic speaker and can get a little confused!

I’m not sure about his domestic policies. I’ve heard some grumbling about covid but those are largely structural problems related to the much wider longstanding lack of social/medical support safety nets. And it’s worth remembering back to how awfully Trump handled Covid, from the mocking and denial through to promoting anti-science and encouraging conspiracy theories.

Besides, Trump should probably be behind bars for his role in the storming of the Capitol. The very definition of a traitor.

Can't get my head round how JB's policy on Covid is 'disliked' - what, compared with T.rump's?! Just how many antivaxxers & fans of drinking bleach are there in the USA?!

No, I think some of them think he was slow on distributing it and making decisions on certain aspects. Something like that. Probably republicans, but then they were never going to be happy about him. I didn’t look to much into it tbh. I just noticed his ratings were relatively poor for a one year in President.

What you’re ignoring is that’s literally his entire USP and why a Trump 2.0 figure is going to walk in next time. Approval ratings of 37% most Democrats are expecting a blood bath in the mid terms. He’s been a utter disaster.

What is it about the openly racist, corrupt, Putin-sucking and incompetent Trump was it that appealed to you?

Maybe look outside the sound bites and put Trump to one side for a moment.

Masking kids, keeping schools closed, vaccine mandates, leaving the tap running longer than necessary for stimulus when many states proved you could fully open safely this time last year. Basically a lot of the unscientific nonsense that those who had been banging on about science from March 2020 were supporting. America (in general) is a fan of individual responsibility and not state intervention.

I know thinking and reading might be tough for you but my post was about Joe Biden, you know the current President.

I certainly don’t agree with your thoughts and comments on the US president, but I can’t help but feel this war has worked out very well for him and indeed our Prime minister in moving aside some pretty difficult domestic issues.

Some thoughts from USA Today on Biden. My caution is that it was written by a former adviser to Bush. The second is Pew Research Centre, whoever they are.

Maybe "look outside the sound bites" & give us some links to "the unscientific nonsense that those who had been banging on about science from March 2020 were supporting".

Don't see how you can put Trump to one side on the issue, given his attitude to, & "management" of, Covid.

As for "America (in general) is a fan of individual responsibility and not state intervention" - I rather doubt the millions of American citizens in medical debt, including those forced into medical bankruptcy, some having had to sell their homes to pay for essential healthcare for serious illnesses, agree with you.

Thankfully I've managed to avoid hearing anything from Trump since he left his post. It's bliss not having to put up with his attention seeking on a daily basis.
