I suspect that for Jacko, anyone to the left of violent, racist criminal traitor Stpehen Yaxley-Lennon, is 'woke'.

What you’re ignoring is that’s literally his entire USP and why a Trump 2.0 figure is going to walk in next time. Approval ratings of 37% most Democrats are expecting a blood bath in the mid terms. He’s been a utter disaster. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’ll be interesting to see which way it goes. His popularity rating is no higher than Trumpster’s was after year one and by then even the Americans had worked out Trump was a nightmare. His handling of Covid, inflation/economy, Afghanistan shambles and ignoring the warnings on Ukraine seem to be the main things disliked.

Can't get my head round how JB's policy on Covid is 'disliked' - what, compared with T.rump's?! Just how many antivaxxers & fans of drinking bleach are there in the USA?!

Those who seem to think Biden on 09:52 - Mar 2 by Guthrum | At least it proves he isn't a robot. Also that his skills do not solely lie in slick media performance, like so many modern politicians. Finally, if you compare that to the nonsensical word salad Trump used to come out with (failing often to even complete his sentences), a single slip of the tongue is a vast improvement. |
If he was a robot, someone would be checking his wiring, he really is terrible at public speaking. If it wasn’t for the fact that muppet trump was the previous president, he’d be getting crucified.

He doesn't come across as polished or fake. Some people like that, and see it as a breath of fresh air, in a modern day politician.

People who come out with this rubbish don't even know what they mean. They're just repeating a term they've heard others say. Not a lot of independent thought there.

Yeah, but he’s old and not Trump, which apparently are much bigger downsides for some people. Averting a nuclear holocaust is so woke anyway.

I wouldn't know if I'm honest. There was a spate of unpleasantness being posted by a small number of posters in a short space of time who were 'let go' in a flurry of retribution from admin, rightfully so. I try not to get involved in naming because it complicates things, and I grew irritated myself of being falsely accused of badgering a poster of that little era who I'd had nothing to do with for a considerable period prior to his ultimate banning. But yes, Spruce did allow himself to get sucked in by a troll or two which was a shame because it was obvious they weren't genuine people, but rather sad freaks who were seeping their disgusting world views onto the site as subtly as they could get away with. My answer was to mostly put them on ignore, Spruce's was to challenge them head--on. Although there was not much wrong with his approach, people don't always care if you're in the right. If they feel inconvenienced they turn on you. That was Spruce's demise. [Post edited 2 Mar 2022 21:13]

"little man syndrome" Spruce is an educated fellow and actually quite successful with a pretty good life. I've no idea about the size of his penis but if you like to fantasise that's up to you. Your jealously shows though, as does your pathetic attempt to project.

What specifically does he not "fill you with confidence" over? That he might shut his eyes after lunch in a conference? That he might get a word wrong that he is humble enough to accept was wrong? That he might stumble when walking? Or that he might start a nuclear war? Or start a riot on the capitol? Or he might deliberately say something inflammatory towards a whole section of society? I, personally, am far more confident about Biden's presidency than that which came before. Could it be better? I am sure it could. However, the idea he is dangerous needs a lot of working to be shown before I am convinced.

We live in a world that has Kim jong un. Putin, a wannabe world domineering mad case. An equally madcap China. Modern Britain whose last two choices at a general election were fecking Johnson or Corbyn. And you're focussing on the sanity of a old boy who, for the very least, isn't Donald Trump. It's fair to question how the hell the [supposed] most powerful nation on earth had to choose between Trump-the-loon and the old boy, but whilst those were the only two then we presently have the right one. You'd think from some 360 odd million people they could do better but like I say, you'd say the same of us and pretty much everywhere else surely.

Ridiculous criticism isn't it. There's also the point that Biden wouldn't act alone, he has a good Vice-President, as many advisors as you can shake a stick at (who he actually listens to), so decisions & statements aren't made by one person acting alone - unlike Trump with his tweets or Putin the dictator.
