I will happily live with "that's Ipswich's ninth win on the trot". And for the ninth season running Ipswich remain unbeaten at home. And that's Ipswich's ninth consecutive trophy. I am getting carried away aren't I?

Shows how far off it we were as well. We've made up 3 points on Sheff Wed and 5 on Oxford and Plymouth but still some way behind all of them.

Didn't realise that was 5 at home and 8 away (on Flanders fields, some of 'em). Makes it even more impressive. Cor! When we get the new American super pitch at FPR over the summer, we're going to be pretty sexy at home next season.

New regime, new (much better) hopes and expectations! With the consistent results we've been getting recently, it just seems extraordinary (and frustrating) that we haven't risen in the table for what feels like several weeks now.

yeah i agree..... my hope however, is that in 3/4 weeks all this hard work and great results/run pays off, and we start climbing above those around us

Patience....Long long way to go yet. We have some very winnable games but this run of 4 at home from the next 5 will be key. If we are within 3 points in 5 games time i think we'll end up getting 6th. The performances are the difference. We beat teams occasionally under Cook and Lambert but it never felt convincing or deserved. Now we seem streets ahead of the opposition.
