Mark Ashton signing autographs today 17:47 - Jun 25 with 4624 views | Illinoisblue | That’s a bit odd, isn’t it? Odder still for fans to ask for his signature. Disclaimer; I like what Ashton is doing and a big fan of the drive and energy he brings to the club.

Mark Ashton signing autographs today on 22:02 - Jun 25 by FrimleyBlue | With the club making a massive stride in its community work, its fantastic that the ceo takes the time during matchdays to be amongst the fans that effectively pay his and the players wages. There will be kids that will love seeing anyone involved In the club in the flesh, there will also be grown ups who enjoy a casual chat with him and enjoy mixing with someone of such a level of the club they support. It's to be applauded imo. The cobbolds. Sheepshanks all welcomed supporters. They mixed with them they personally thanked them for their support. Evans and his employees saw supporters as customers and they made it clear in their words and actions. |
The Cobbolds did not talk to the proles, are you mad

Mark Ashton signing autographs today on 17:59 - Jun 25 by Illinoisblue | Did he? |
Always had time for interacting with the fans. Bumped into him in Helsingborg, and whilst I was too old to bother asking for signatures, he and his wife stopped and chatted with us for a bit. Nice to hear MA is interacting with the fans.

Mark Ashton signing autographs today on 22:07 - Jun 25 by AlanG296 | Neither. Some fans fall for the PR. They did with Sheepshanks as well. As for football focused a good CEO is involved in appointing the football management etc and apart from contracts, leaves them to get on with it. Plenty of things off the field for the CEO to lead his management team on. |
I really don't think its that deep. Bloke shakes hands and signs autographs for fans.

Mark Ashton signing autographs today on 22:15 - Jun 25 by jeera | I don't want our moon, it's sh1t. All grey and dull looking. What about one of the other planet's moons, maybe they're better? Can we have one of those, on a stick, wrapped in candyfloss? I want that. |
I want the moon on a stick. It’s made of cheese according to Wallace and Gromit. Not Wensleydale, but not bad on crackers. That’s a lot of cheese.

If he wants to meet people and do a bit of PR, all power to him. At least he’s interested. Yes, the ‘day job’ is running the football club, building teams and all that stuff, but I actually think it’s good he attends games, does meet the supporters stuff. Ok, he’s a bit ‘Brentish’, dodgy little beard and cap and a bullsh1t bingo player’s dream, but I’ll take that over the appalling level of non-communication and nothingness of the Evans era and his hapless stooges every day of the week. It actually feels like a football club. Forget the Bristol City lobotomised brigade. It’s what he does here and so far, he’s got far more right than wrong. He and the club deserve our support for the first time in years. But it’s up to he and them to deliver now.

For thinking asking for a CEOs signature is cringe AF? I could almost understand it if he'd taken us from League One to the prem. So far he's taken us from League One to League One and fans want his signature 😅😅
