Number position on the new shirts 19:24 - Jun 25 with 2067 views | Dubtractor | Is it just me or does the number look far too low on the back? Just looking at the pics from today and they don't look quite right!

Number position on the new shirts on 19:40 - Jun 25 with 1959 views | Keno | have the players shrunk since the end of the season so that their usual size shirt looks too big?

Ah, that's obviously what makes them look 'wrong'.

There is a sort of yoke on the back of the neck that means the names can’t go as high up as they usually do. It’s noticeable on Baggott’s shirt in the interview with him. When the shirts are tucked in, part of the numbers may be in some players’ shorts. https://www.itfc.co.uk/siteassets/image/202223/new-contracts/elkan-baggott/elkan [Post edited 25 Jun 2022 21:39]

Or we are signing someone either a triple barreled surname that's going to need two lines

I assume there'll be a Red Cross logo in there somewhere as the EFL's charity partner. Mind were the previous one and they had their logo on the back of shirts.

There’s obviously a bit more unused space there too… something like this, perhaps? (Although might not help dolly, as still doesn’t say ‘where’ to get one!)

I really think it's just because they can't physically print letters over the curvy bit at the top of the neck.

Maybe, actually just spotted that the British Red Cross bit is on the numbers.
