Get on the replies to this ahah. I get that football is a game if opinions but how can people say they wouldn’t take Celina back here… it really does not make any sense. This is just one tweet but there are lots of them saying we should try and find someone better etc.

This is objective right. We will not get anyone better than Celina. As per the below tweet, he seems keen. Bring him home.

Luton, Sunderland, Bristol City and Huddersfield apparently.

I just think the lure of playing Championship football at his age may be the deciding factor for him, pretty much like Twine.

If we are interested in him time will tell as they say.

Fair enough. I can see all of those being in a position to play him pretty regularly and Sunderland would be a bigger draw than us even if they were still League One.

I think we can match those for wages and probably beat Luton and maybe Huddersfield but that probably puts us well out of sight.

I was hoping it was Millwall, Rotherham and that ilk.

Nothing wrong with them. They just have a different opinion about a player.

I'm really caught on Celina. My favourite player under MIck. On his day he's fantastic. KM got him doing a lot of things he had struggled with earlier in the season.
But... in his position for me goals are everything. And whilst people bring up his stats.. they are slightly flawed as it heavily involves 1 game. But by the end of the season he'd scored something like 1 or 2 goals in 24 games. Not enough for me in that specific position.

I would be happy for him to return, but wouldn't have him as first name on teamsheet.

a niche perspective

It was 2 goals and 2 assists in 10 starts and 3 sub appearances to finish the season.

Yep thought it was 1 or 2... what was it further than 10 games? That was my point. Not final 10

There's a goal drought of 5 starts and 2 sub appearances prior to that.

3 goals and 3 assists in 16 starts and 5 sub appearances as second half of the season. I'm pretty confident he'd chip in more than that in a second season, but also it's a decent contribution.

If we are looking to get Celina back, what would be holding the deal back? Would it be Dijon holding out for a sale or would it be Celina holding out for a bigger / better move?

In a heartbeat I’d take him back, and have said all summer I’d be gutted if he weren’t here come the start of the season.

Haven’t seen many (if any) better players named so far.

Financially it of course may be a difficult deal. Think Dijon will be holding out for a permanent move before sanctioning another loan deal - if any deal is done think it could be late in the window.

Anyone who wouldn't want Celina back needs their head checking, frankly. If it happens our chances of promotion go up significantly.

I know that you knew a bit about what was going on with him last summer, do you think there is a good chance he ends up back here? I notice his Dad was commenting on Twitter earlier that he hopes he's back here next season.

Love watching Celina.. With someone like Ball behind him, Greg Leigh up alongside on the left, and a decent mover and finisher in front of him.. He'll be twice the player we saw last season... One of very few players we had last season, that can make a ploughed field, play like a putting green...Insane level of skill and speed of thought... Personally thought he had to dumb his game down a bit, to accommodate certain players in front of him, at times. But linked up well with our better players. Especially when Morsy started playing more advanced.. Absolutely destroyed Wycombe at their place, previous to KM's arrival.. We'd be lucky to have him, imo.. Although, if he's on a reputed 20k, then we'd probably have to try and wangle it down to something more like 12k, with, perhaps some promotion incentives thrown in.. . Would love to see him here, but not holing my breath... Treating it like a bonus, if he did show up...
