threads and all of this came after me commenting on a Boris Johnson thread. Apparently, I am "always making stuff up" so come on where is the proof? If you cannot prove that I am DaveU and the rest surely that's against the rules here?

I think there are a few who are over the top with the negative stuff, the op here being one of them. |
I am not deliberately negative, my honest view is we finished 11th for a reason and we have some gaps to plug in before I can see it getting better. It wasn't like we narrowly missed out on Playoffs, we were a mile off in the end. I think McKenna may have taken on too big a job too early and is maybe too conservative (and not in that way before I get any more pelters...). I refuse to wet the bed over pre-season results and while I have no issues with frees and loans, I don't think it's enough to turn this around, I don't care what bookies say at this stage.
I am not a Norwich fan, or DaveU, I am not even a fan of Boris Johnson, I just don't believe he's an actual racist, as in a white supremacist, that's all.
Hang me for my views, but don't call me something I am not! If I am wrong, fair enough, if we go up, even better, but don't just make stuff up to discredit me, or call me out or presume my view before I even post. That's not too much to ask for is it? | |

Explain how that is fair. I have no problem with disagreeing with me, it's just the unnecessary lies and digs outside of that, which if let's say if were done at work, would be considered bullying because you can't just make stuff up about people because you don't like them, or deliberately try and engage them with arguments through baiting, or by presuming my views?

I don't even know who DaveU is or why that would be so offensive, but I read above that Phil dealt with it.
If you are a town fan of a particularly negative persuasion, yes you may get called a Norwich fan as a result. Ho hum.
Please expand on what "unnecerssary lies" are being told about you. It's a forum, others will sometimes misrepresent your point of view in an attempt to win an arguement. Just play it with a straight bat and call it out when it happens, that's what I do.
If you wander around the place being quite negative about a lot of things, people will start to get bored of it and possibly even take the p!ss a bit. I would say it's a social message that maybe you need to tone it down, rather than a deliberate attempt to bully you. I'm not convinced you even can be "bullied" on a forum, at the end of the day it's not encroaching into your life unless you choose to engage with it. Bullying can happen at a place of work, on your social media, malicious communications direct to your phone etc, but on a forum you choose to come here. Doesn't make the behaviour of others right of course, but I don't think you can call it bullying.

I just don't believe Boris is a white supremacist or a racist, he's appointed more non-white people to top jobs than any other PM, and isn't even "white" himself as his is mostly of Turkish ancestry, so this idea that we had a committed racist as a PM is wrong, and actually damages defeating the problem of genuine racism. Racist has just become a word to be thrown out there, and it's been totally cheapened to the point much of the public doesn't really understand the issue anymore and that's a problem. A big problem. It's not a political points-scoring exercise.
But that view encouraged the mob to troll and start making nonsense up about me, probably assuming I was a Tory.

I understand some of the concerns but you need to remember it is only 7th July and McKenna has said numerous times that he hopes to add a few more players to the squad.
I don't think it's fair to say McKenna was overly conservative either. Weren't we averaging around 2pts per game after he came in?
I don't think we had much fire power in the squad last season and the lack of goals meant we were unable to kill games off when we were superior. That needs to change this year. |  |

Not sure that's fair. Even if there are plenty of positives around the club there can be negative aspects to discuss. Quite a lot of us are disappointed to see Dobra departing, Simpson almost certain to go etc. Don't think anyone should be castigated for commenting on those sorts of matters. |
