Absolutely superb frankly. Regardless of him being up against the lowest of the low in public office he stalked Boris down expertly.

FWIW Andy Burnham spoke to me and a group of school leaders yesterday, he needs to be alongside Starmer, Rayner et al. when it comes to campaigning.

I just hope every Lab/Lib/Green candidate simply reads out the charge sheet against each MP in a blue ribbon over the last few years. That alone will help wipe them out.

If it takes the Tories 20 years to reform after this it will be too quick. They deserve to be obliterated for allowing this lot to come to power.

There is a vacancy for a dishonest and inadequate bullsh1tter unencumbered by values. And he’s clearly the frontrunner.

Heady days!

I thought he destroyed Boris earlier... but then it was rather like taking candy from a baby.

On a side note, it makes me laugh when they blather on about "what the public really wants" as if he (Boris) has the first idea about what the public wants. What he really means is "I want to deflect by talking about this instead..."

The public want broadly appealling, vacuous statements that have no accountability. They want lies and euphemisms dressed up by "spin doctors". They want politicians who refuse to answer questions, put there through financial "donations", via an undemocratic electoral system.

At least that is what I've seen people vote for over the past two decades.

The bottom line here is that he's the grown up in the room and, barring catastrophe, he's the next Prime Minister.

The nutter left and right need to wrap their micro-brains around that and work out how to moderate their batsht mental philosophies and rejoin the real world. We don't have time for identity politics, culture wars and such. Too many real fcking problems to deal with.

Well done, that’s probably one of the most grown up pragmatic posts I’ve seen on here for an extremely long time. Plus it has the obligatory DaveU downvote which means you are 100% correct.
