Is anyone else getting bored with the Tory leadership race now? 08:45 - Aug 2 with 2751 views | ringwoodblue | It’s pretty obvious that Liz Truss is going to win as all of the main contenders have announced their support in order to secure themselves a cabinet position. Let’s face it, it’s all about self-interest. We have to put up with another month of this cr@p and at the end of that month, we get another incompetent PM that we haven’t voted for and who won’t be addressing the big issues that most of us face.

Slashing all the tax rises HE gave us. And not to mention being a Boris apologist. Beyond satire.

They want Sunak to lead them to victory in the future rather than defeat in 18 months or so.

Is anyone else getting bored with the Tory leadership race now? on 18:00 - Aug 2 with 727 views | Swansea_Blue | They currently seem to be trying to outdo each other in the inanity stakes. Truss trying to revive a 20 year old ‘idea’ to pay public sector workers different rates in different regions. At least twice that’s been considered and dismissed as a batsh*t crazy idea. And then u-turning after her regional MPs kicked off (strong “Hans, are we the baddies?” energy coming from some Tories today), without any comment on where she’d now find the savings to fund her ERG and think tank-pushed tax cuts. And then to top it off in the spirit of Johnson, also lying about how her press release was reported. Neither have got a clue how to address the challenges facing us, and which they mostly presided over. They admit we’re in a bad place yet seem to want to do more of the same, although are really mostly concerned with throwing rancid red meat to their voting membership (who must be a right bunch of a-holes if this is what appeals to them!). What a shameful mess the current Tory Party is in. Christ, I’m turning into Harry lol

Is anyone else getting bored with the Tory leadership race now? on 18:12 - Aug 2 with 713 views | Mookamoo | I can't remember this amount of policy detail getting press when it was Hunt vs Johnson. I suppose everyone knew (or thought they knew) what Johnson was going to do anmd Hunt's voice was just a fart in the wind. I mean, this is all directed at what, 160,000 Tory members who actually give a toss? Its just a protracted display of what little clue any of them have in how to move on from Johnson.

I don't think actually anyone knows how many Tory members there are as regional hubs don't share their figures with head office - or so i was recently told. Something to do with funding or something or other. I dismissed this as rubbish but the same person also told me that if you join Tories abroad you can register as a member and vote - even if you are not British. I dismissed this as well but it is correct! If we had got our social media campaign together like we said we would we could have engineered Penny Maundant the extra votes she needed by targeting our friends at The Liuyang Fireworks Association. I am 100% certain they would have come on board as they are completely bribable - so in many ways I blame you for Liz Truss Mooky

Johnson stood on a Brexit ticket and defeating Labour at the next election. Three letter slogans and simple messages is all he had (and it worked); I don't remember there being any detail. I don't remember Hunt, he was peeing in the wind against the Brexit fanaticism that was peaking back then. Here's Williamson repeating the main message (his support and leadership of his campaign was rewarded with a knighthood of course. Let that sink in - the guy who helped bring in our most useless, corrupt, dishonest government in recent times, which went on to cause huge economic, social and reputation damage to our country (whilst also fecking up schools and pupils during Covid) gets a lifelong place in the Lords at our expense). https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/may/23/boris-johnson-bid-for-tory-lead His main messages are in the picture here - https://news.sky.com/story/boris-johnson-referred-to-data-watchdog-over-campaign

Yep, this was talked about on here a while back. They could be mobilising their wider free marketeer conservative groups like Turning Point USA for all we know. Farcical that non-residential, non-Brits can take part in choosing our PM. But then this group of Tories is all about their global network of free marketeer lobby groups. They’re influencing policy, political funding, things like Brexit (Bannon, Elliot, etc).
