What it also shows, and probably more importantly is that Kieran McKenna is data based.

As much as I love Warnock and would like to have seen hime here, I doubt he analyses this sort of thong as much.

It's a tough one.

Warnocks style I think would have got us up instead of lambert and probably would have stopped relegation...

KM style potentially sets us up for year on year promotions if he gets it right as its a start of a culture

It's odd that some people thing these stats don't really mean anything. Maybe they don't on an individual basis but all the impressive stats together and it shows why we are joint top of the league.

Truly impaired.

Turnovers in opposition half is one of the main metrics we will be being measured on. Clearly beneficial from a defensive perspective as you're preventing the opponent being able to play in your territory, but also offensively as you've turned the ball over far higher up the pitch. Our press is good, I think it can be better at certain times but it's a far cry from a half fit Norwood chasing down a left back before looking round and seeing his teammates sat on the half way line. People say it's not about fitness, but that's a massive part of it. Think a few of our squad had a shock when Cook came in, they couldn't handle it. We've recruited well since and off the pitch have improved all of the conditioning side of things. It's so evident when watching us, we would destroy Lambert's team (not saying that's all his or their fault btw).

Currently 2nd to Peterborough on high turnovers and 2nd to Wycombe on shot ending turnovers. Like you say room for improvement but we're doing well in our pressing this season.
