Ladapo 21:08 - Sep 20 with 4246 views | Cheltenham_Blue | I don't know about what anyone else is thinking, but he looks to me to be short on confidence.

Ladapo on 21:50 - Sep 20 with 778 views | Mullet | Thought he just looked frustrated he wasn't given the right ball time and again. Was unlucky with many, not so much a couple of others then took his goal well. He can't be unaware of the pressure certain fans are putting on him either and it's very unhelpful and short-sighted. Without Ladapo the 10's wouldn't have had such a good return and the team wouldn't have retained possession in so many games either.

Ladapo on 21:17 - Sep 20 by FromReuserWithLove | That horrible position when a striker fails to get an early goal at a new club. Pressure built now and usually never live up to expectation. Also having a name with fans can easily make into a negative moniker - Ladapoo. I hope he goes on a run soon as team spirit is everything for success and the last thing he and the team needs is negativity from a few cwunts in the crowd. |
I would have gone with lacrapo personally haha Either way I agree hasn’t looked a natural finisher as of yet which is a shame but definitely stick behind him and hope he comes good. Glad he got another goal, has to be good for his confidence. Overall, McKenna has got every single player in this squad playing better and that is a huge positive going forwards. Glad we got him on a 5 year!

Ladapo on 21:33 - Sep 20 by mattrolow | Why don’t we just get behind players when they’re low on confidence? Isn’t that what supporting a team is about? You’re right in that the negativity really doesn’t help. We’re on a great run, why do our fans have to find something to hate on? |
We all said the same about Kayden for the last 3 years, but McKenna told him what he could do, not what he couldn't, and he's playing probably the best football of his career. Hopefully McKenna can see Freddie's strengths, and build up his confidence. He was beaming after his goal. If KMcK can do it with Kayden, he can do it with Freddie.

Ladapo on 21:46 - Sep 20 by skinnybob72 | He's a focal point up top and his running helps create space for the no 10s in behind - how many have Chaplin and Harness got this season? Hopefully Ladapo will score more regularly but the team is playing well and he's part of that. |
The crowd were cheering him all game - He missed loads, persevered and got his goal. Not one negative chant all game and you could tell his relief when he waved to the crowd. It was great moment. Davis looked quality tonight, ball and Keogh and humphreys the same. We have such a solid team now. I really enjoyed the game and like others have said, it’s so refreshing to watch us play.
Ladapo on 22:41 - Sep 20 with 613 views | lazyblue | The real problem is that too many fans don’t appreciate the job KM wants him to do, the goals will come.
Ladapo on 22:52 - Sep 20 with 603 views | BondiBlue | Quality composed finish tonight. If he was that short on confidence i would have expected him to slash at it. I know what you mean but i was encouraged by the way he finished it. His all-round play was good again. Lots of unselfish work. Looks to me like he's growing into the role.

I have never seen it as my role as Supporter to do anything other than support in the stadium. Fair to have opinions on players, their capability, how they contribute to the team, their performances, even those you’d prefer move on from the club but ultimately it’s the manager that decides and they know more than me! I draw a distinction between for effect mostly, Fans-these are people that watch football, believe they could do a better job than player and or coach, think their negative views is somehow helping, but they don’t support, Supporters-they watch the football, they see the failings, but choose to encourage then hope the people paid to make decisions make good ones more than bad, and Analysts-these are people that watch the football, they might be paid, but are more likely to point to everything that’s bad under the pretence that they can see something the Supports cannot.

Didn’t he just do a brilliant flicked assist and score a cool finish?! (n/t) on 01:57 - Sep 21 with 474 views | unstableblue
