Didn’t take long after largely vanishing for a year waiting for the inevitable eruption of mounting criticism. All those lip service gestures and it seems not only have they learned nothing but they’ve gone backwards. Already J*mes w*tt is declaring all rightly called out holes in the sentiment as “hate”.
He’s the drunk hipster version of Elon Musk.
And yes, you can argue it’s publicity but at what cost? Not all PR is good PR, despite what some may claim.

The OP posts about Brewdog and you post about him and other posters.
It's all you do.
Bitter and twisted and fragile at every single turn.
This usual suspects trope is a lie, but that's easier than having to think isn't it?
The OP and I have clashed more times than I can count and are hardly part of some same group, yet you would lazily lump us in together because, as I say, it's easier than actually reading what he's said and maybe taking it on board.
Why not comment on the subject itself instead of taking pot shots? Go on, give it a go, see if you can manage an actual opinion on the BrewDog hypocrisy highlighted by the OP.
Just try. Just to see if you can. Like an experiment.

Ah my friend, like a bad smell you're back.
Believe me, you are of a very similar ilk, but let's move away from that.
Anyway,
The Qatar World Cup is a farce, utter joke, awarded out of corruption and nothing else. I think we can agree on that.
However, business is business and being all righteous and ethical doesn't look great on the balance sheet.
It's all well and good stroking the chin and being the perfect human but reality isn't like that.
There's a group on here and you know exactly who they are (you included) who portray this vision of holy perfection but sadly the real world isn't like it.
You haven't a clue who I am or what I do, but I feel I need to insert some reality into the ideal world occasionally.

Well that’s my point RE being pleasant. You can’t even decipher basic sarcasm aimed your way. No surprise you have the narrow minded thought skills a toddler wouldn’t envy.
Who is my “lot” exactly and what is our “agenda”? I’d love you to elaborate on these Gammon buzzwords.
You seem to know so much about me.
You are so clever x

Lol, you have ethics about the Qatar WC but denigrate those having ethics elsewhere?

I like Brewdog beer generally and do buy it, but they are a sham of a company with all this punk rubbish.
I could barely get to the bottom of their article about the anti sponsor or whatever it was, was so weakly written and so clearly bollox which would be totally contradictory to their values
They are generally just a good marketing company that can react quickly to things and insert themselves into the zeitgeist

Likewise, I buy their beer, but I also ignore their PR bullsh1t, which is all it has ever been. Everyone can see through it, but it still gets them plenty of coverage.
If I'm honest I tend not to buy my beer based on a brewers ethical values or staff satisfaction.

Please elaborate.
Enlighten us
The fact you think you deserve to be addressed in such a manner when you can barely string two sentences together that elaborate on anything requested isn’t a good look for anyone but an attention seeker.

....surely you know you must have an opinion and you absolutely must tell everyone exactly what your opinion is!!!
You are never going to fit in here Dubbers.

I bought a couple once but have to admit that I don't/wouldn't any more due to their dodgy sounding business practices.

Oh, no doubt they are pretty crappy on that front, but I think it's mainly the hypocrisy of their actual practices compared to their public image, rather than them necessarily being a 'worse' company than other brewers.
On the Qatar world cup stuff, I'm sure all the other brewers will gladly sell their beer there, but won't be pulling an anti Qatar PR stunt. And the owner is clearly a massive chopper. But none of this is really on a par with Nestle's antics is it, for example?
