My thoughts - I am pretty happy overall. Bit frustrating on occasions but I just think back to the utter dirge served up under McCarthy, Hirst and Lambert - and still can't believe people thought they were anything other than utterly hopeless. Is all about perspective for me.
Missed Wycombe cos I felt like sh1t and didn't want to be a super spreader. Managed to get to Charlton, Bracknell and sorted for Oxford too. | |

The last two years of McCarthy ball were genuinely the worst for me. So sh1t that I reckon on occasion we had less than 10k in the ground, literally 1/3 of those that did turn up leaving with 10-20 minutes to go it was so painful to watch.
I know we were in the Championship but what we are watching today (atmosphere, football, experience) is a 100 times better imho.
But I take your point. I'll stick to general threads :-) | |
