Really pleased for him, he showed he was made of the right stuff when he played for us, even with the criticism he faced. No doubt he was raw and had much to learn, but he did have the qualities to be a good defender and leader if coached correctly. He’s shown tonight, he’s certainly a better calibre of defender than L1. |  |

Not sure; he's playing superbly today, there's no doubt about that. But there's a different expectation in today's match compared to what our defenders are usually required to do. | |
