Jackson uptop tomorrow? 13:35 - Jan 13 with 4722 views | FrimleyBlue | No idea of the pace of the 2 new signings.. but I did wonder if we might see Jackson uptop to start with to stretch the likes of Wilson.

Jackson uptop tomorrow? on 14:10 - Jan 13 by StokieBlue | I'm not convinced we are any better at defending in the air when Burgess is playing. Most of the goals we concede aren't because the CB's have missed them, it's the full backs or wingers not winning the header. Burgess has done fine but after watching Edmundson again the other match it's clear to me that Burgess is slower to make the decision on what to do with the ball. Still think Burgess will start tomorrow though. SB |
Burgess is slower but he's improving imo. Edmundson showed again tho that mistakes are still in him. His error played a part in Keoghs stupidity for example. Again tho we have options. But against league leaders I personally would stick with the defense that is coping OK. We just need the other players to minimise needless freekicks and minimise free crosses.

Jackson uptop tomorrow? on 14:46 - Jan 13 with 1343 views | Stewart27 | No We need our number 9 to have a goalscoring threat. We’ve spent money on number 9s who can score goals.

Jackson uptop tomorrow? on 13:59 - Jan 13 by Garv | Hope not. Walton JD Wolf Burgess* Burns Evans Morsy Davis Chaplin Broadhead Ladapo *Wouldn't be at all upset to see Edmundson. Seems crazy that he can't get a game and overall I still rate him over Burgess, but he deserves his place currently. |
Swap Broadhead for Harness and probably bang on
Jackson uptop tomorrow? on 19:10 - Jan 13 with 1099 views | Vaughan8 | We've just signed 2 forwards and Ladapo is better than him. He'll be lucky to get on the bench!

Jackson uptop tomorrow? on 23:15 - Jan 13 with 1006 views | BigCommon | Both Hirst and Broadhead are quick.. Not in the speed category of Jackson, but , still, no slouches .. Hirst surprisingly quick for a big lad. We may see him as a slight alternative to Ladapo. In that, he probably isn't as good with back to goal, as Freddy. But quick enough to be slipped in with ball to feet now and then, as well as a decent threat in the air.... I'm not so sure he is the like for like sub for Ladapo that some people think he is. Some similarities, but will also offer some differences. Which is a good thing, imo. I think Ladapo will start up top. But we'll see.

agree with that team, all being fit. hirst, harness and jackson to come off the bench, the former 2 have a good understanding from pompey days subs bench is tough to pick there, if we can bring on 5 subs, i'd like to see 9 on there, going to have to leave out the likes of edmundson, edwards, aluko despite decent performances...
