It's his job to be contrarian and argumentative. People then get enraged and phone in to their radio shows, providing cheaply-filled airtime rather than having to pay proper journalists to broadcast informed stuff. |  |

That's perhaps because Sutton is just so incessant. Remember listening to R5 one evening while driving somewhere and had to turn off as it was reduced to he and the other pundits simply shouting over one another. Not good radio. | |

Well Sutton's got a voice for newsprint, as far as I'm concerned. Can't stand his whiny, moany Norferk tones.
Not that I dislike the Norfolk accent generally, but in a mild form, coupled with his miserable, humourless, hard-done-by chirrup, it makes me turn off the wireless every time. |  |

I would love to know what his predictions for us and the budgies have been over the season and how far out they have been.
Embarrassing him by his ineptness would be the best policy. The clear budgie bias is understandable but the ineptness as a pundit should be highlighted. |  |
