Clinton Morrison not impressed!

Was it THAT bad?! They even joked that he had to do the replay too!

RIP Sir Bobby

I thought it was a decent game but I guess the narrative has to be 0-0 equals borefest.

I thought I heard the Radio 5 commentator describe our performance as "excellent"?

Weird isn't it.

Despite not many "great chances" I thought it was. Good game?

On the drive home Chris Waddle.was slaying Preston for not attacking much......yeah cos if they attack loads Spurs will score a few. OK they did in the end anyway but even so.

As another thread said, so many rubbish "pundits" about.

Indeed. We were the better side and ought to have won.

However, neither keeper made a save of any note. If you judge a match on goals and goalmouth action then it would rank lowly.

I have seen far worse matches many a time. Perhaps Sky were expecting more of what both Burnley and Town normally serve up and were disappointed it didn't live up to that.

"However, neither keeper made a save of any note."

Think Hladky might disagree with you!

Clinton Morrison is a piss poor pundit at the best of times and is as insightful as a slug.

I have no idea how he has a job in broadcast journalism. To do that role, at a very minimum you need to be able to string an articulate sentence together.

The one where he made an error, was caught out of position and managed to get back in time to stop the shot double-handed? It seemed a comfortable save to make even though he was out of position from where I was.

Both keepers touched mishit crosses over the bar too but they would have been howlers to let in.

Apologies if I have forgotten a proper save either made.

No, can't recall that one but I didn't get a stream until about the 35th+ minute, & then missed a bit here & there in 2nd half too. Do remember a one-handed save to centre-right, fairly high & hard shot from a few yards outside the box.

Clinton is a bit mixed up. Little known fact…when he visits talkSPORT he waits in reception until a member of staff comes down to escort him to the studio. He refuses to take the lift so the member of staff accompanies him on the stairs all the way up to the 17th floor.
