Admittedly, I only saw the second half but once again, Morsy was immense. Seems to have calmed his temperament a little too.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

How would that help me from my seat at PR, you know some of us actually go to games and don’t just watch the iFollow coverage

Touché, old boy. I don't get to many games.

The goals are the white sticky things along the short ends of the pitch, if I remember correctly?

How you can see Morsy as a 'sideways' player is way beyond me.

I think you mean "Square Ball Sammy Lee" of the Liverpool team of the 1980s. Morsy is anything but a sideways player.

Agree brilliant player, neither was Sammy Lee

95% of the balls he plays are sideways or backwards

Evidence please.

He's outstanding, and has been for so long.

A leader that actually leads with consistent performances every single week, very very rarely drops them standards.

A player that received absolute nonsense once again in the past month - critically important to the side and first name on the team sheet each week I'd imagine.

According to this article, Morsy's sideways passes have only accounted for one fewer assist for Chaplin, than Burns' or Davis' crosses have.

People were seriously calling for Morsy to be dropped after a few "below his normal performance" games.

These people must watch too much of the blurb on sky. They change their tune from one game to the next...!

He had imo done what you say, especially in some first half of games, however imo he's back to his best, which is brilliant considering he hasn't needed a rest to do so.
The Morsy of late and the one we saw earlier in the season, picked the ball up, drove forward and you felt that desire flow through the team, he'd become a big static imo through the past few months but 2nd half of games turned it on. Good to see it back to what he brought earlier on in the season.

a niche perspective

This reminds me a little of the Magic Crab. Mindfuggling how some fans didn't really rate him.

I'm not comparing Morsy with Magilton btw.
