Two main takeaways from that 22:08 - Mar 7 with 2097 viewsGarv

1. I'd like to know if we're choosing to shoot towards the NS in the first half, and if we're not we should be. I've spent 20 years sitting in that stand hoping to see Town kick my way in the second half. I'm now hoping we don't! I think (someone correct me if wrong) that's our last four home games doing it and we've won three 4-0 and one 3-0.

2. When we inevitably concede a goal playing out from the back, it'll be the crowd's fault. If you're one of those people gasping every time the ball drops at Walton's feet, for goodness sake grow a pair and stop it. It's no wonder the next time he kicks it out of play, he's got 4,000 people behind him telling him to lump it.

Love the way we're mixing it up now with early balls round the corner over the top for the attackers. Flummoxed Accrington at times and it will flummox everyone who sets up to defend against us in any one particular way.

What it does show is McKenna does have the ability to change and adapt his tactics. Unlike so many of his predecessors.

1) it does seem that more teams are opting to 'turn us around' when they win the toss. Perhaps they feel that they'd rather be defending the Churchmans end if they're still drawing or ahead come the second half?

2) couldn't have said it better myself. It's almost as if they'll dedicate a significant amount of time on the training ground perfecting pressure situations such as that, and getting the hang of passing the ball away at the last moment. The apoplexy of the gents behind me (especially Mr "GET F***ING RID!") would have been hilarious had it not been quite so irritating!

Maybe it's just the calibre of oppo in the last four games but we've mixed it up a lot more. It's been good to watch.

Saw a stat that in the last 4 games where we have been turned around by the opposition, we have gone an aggregate score of 10-0 in the first halves.

I hope more teams keep turning us around!

1) Accrington won the toss and switched us over, as Burton did

2) We took a lot of risks tonight but got it spot on, how many goals have we actually conceded from this going wrong?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Bang on point 2 - our fans were ridiculous on 01:00 - Mar 8 with 1131 viewsunstableblue

Panicked shrieks when we try and play some proper football out of the back.

We were handling their high press and when we passed through it we opened them up

We always used to attack Churchmans in the second half back in the day.

Cannot believe how some get so anxious about us drawing the opposition on to us to be able to play through them with tight, fast incisive football. On the floor.

It will go wrong at some point. And they will all be on here telling us about it. But we have the better footballers and a manager who wants to play this way. I actually believe the weakest part of this is Walton, who needs to pass it a touch earlier.
