A different gravy… class signing in Jan.

A class act. Best player at the club for me at the moment.

I doubt Whittaker was ever a realistic option for us in January, but Broadhead might be an even better player.

Luongo, CLarke and Hirst as well.

Broadhead pick of a very good quartet, though.

Must be one of our best January windows since signing Stewart

He's so good. He moves the ball so quickly and I love how much his natural instinct is to go directly towards goal. He was fantastic today.

I make it better than that window.

Had a neutral mate at the game today… on 17:25 - Apr 15 with 1543 viewsunstableblue

(Mates mates mates) he was blown away by Broadhead

He was another level

His chipped through pass to Chaplin for the goal was remarkable

If we had those 4 January signings at the beginning of the season we’d have been promoted before Burnley.

Transfer windows didn't exist back then. We signed him in February.

What has been so good about the transfer window is that we brought players in from a position of strength rather than just addressing weaknesses. JD had done a solid job and nobody was clamouring for him to be replaced but Clarke has come in and done brilliantly.

He's very fluid... Picks the ball up, turns and runs at them, all in one motion... Technically gifted, great balance and a sharp footballing brain....
I might add, as good as he is in the final third. He also does his fare share, of making a nuisance of himself in our half , too., when its needed.
Really good player....

Similarly Ladapo and Evans/Humphreys. I think it is fair to say we felt a need to improve attacking options generally, though. But rather than extra bodies, each signing has been an improvement on the first choice we had.

If players want to remain first choice, they will need to improve and step up each season.

Oh, I think he is. I think he is clearly stretching out now and developing in our framework. His body shape is excellent when he dribbles - he doesn't bundle his way through, he instinctively beats people whilst in complete control and will be playing in the Premier League within a couple of years.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

No might about it. He’s barely getting any game time down here in a struggling side and when he does he looks lost.

If one of them scores the winner at anfield I may agree.

Still the best Jan window for a very long time.

Agreed, absolutely unbelievable we were able to get him from what I've seen, stupidly good business from the club!

Not sure he is quick enough for the Prem, but he is ridiculous for league 1. He is missing link for me in this side, has taken us from top end play offs to top two form, let’s hope he stays fit.

The only Muff in Town.
