Hopefully you’re right. I hope Exeter don’t come here and park the bus . I dread to think how PR would be feeling if the carnival atmosphere slowly disintegrated into one of anxiety and tension the longer the game goes on and we need8mg to get that all important goal. We’re you at PR the season we went up and needing just one win ,. I think we played Brighton, and they came here needing a point , and did everything to stall us. We didn’t win. They even passed it back to their GK from a throw in deep into our half. The tension and frustration was unbearable……. Nothing is a dead cert , is all Im trying to say. And it’s very easy to get carried away. If we don’t get that early goal, ( I’m praying we will then the whole atmosphere changes)….the tension gradually builds u0 doesn’t it.

So fingers crossed we get that early goal…… but as utterly brilliant as we have been , it’s not written in stone we will win. Hopefully an early goal settles the nerves and we go on to thump them one.

One of the better referees we've had this season. Was excellent at Turf Moor.

Despite everything in past 3 months you still post pessimism before every game. It’s really not healthy. If you can’t be optimistic about Town now you never will be. Try and enjoy.

Everything indicates we will win on Saturday. Sure we may not and there are never any guarantees but look forward to a game for once. There won’t be many more in the coming months where we are as heavy favourites as we will be on Saturday

It’s my anxiety and fear of falling just short. I honestly can’t help it, and I’m sorry if I bring people down with it. I honest,y don’t mean to, or ever intend to. I take Levothyroxine and I was told by a medic recently that one of the side effects is anxiety . Trust me I never used to be like this . And I am aware that I am…( and hate how I feel)….….But I suppose I’m just trying to say, please just hold off the celebrations until 5pm Sat…. Yes on our current form we should stroll it. But sometimes things don’t happen like we expect them to or should be…...just ask any Weds fan now , when they were celebrating being 10points ahead and having 2 games in hand, and claiming they were going to win the division at a canter.

FWIW…… I think if we can ( should ) win Sat. I can see us nicking the Title at Fleetwood as I think Plymouth will drop points at PV….

Don't apologise Arnie, it's possible to be looking forward to the game but also being wary that the job isn't done yet. Whilst many fans are already celebrating promotion, it's not done, and no doubts KM will be telling the players this

Saturday is a tough game, Exeter have lost their last 6 i think, BUT, they've played everyone around us and not been comfortable beat in any of them.

I do believe we can win, but until that final whistle blows and the results say town win, it's only right to feel various different ways about saturday.

If people want to know why, you really do have to only think about wednesday v forest green, no one saw that happening. Football is a crazy game.

Sorry didn’t mean to make you feel you had to reveal personal medical history. I know how much of a big supporter you are and how much it means to you but I just want to take it in and enjoy the moment rather than worrying all the time.

I know that’s easier said that done and some of us are naturally pessimistic or more anxious due to health issues but I really believe the hard work is done. There is no way this squad and manager will let this slip, they have too much about them. Wednesday let it slip because they weren’t actually that great and have concerns going on at the club on and off the pitch, even their own fans say so. We are a different animal.

Enjoy it, soak it up. We may win a promotion next season we may have to wait another 20+ years - no one knows so live for the moment.

I think excitement has built and expectation has reach bursting point but I actually don’t think I’ve seen anyone celebrating promotion and fans know it’s still work to be done so can’t agree with what you say there.

I think it’s the excitement that we can seal it at home on Saturday not excitement of celebrating promotion. Town fans are generally pretty sensible in that regard.

For the majority you are right. I just feel the talks about going on the pitch and this hero's welcome coach thing is just a bit premature. I appreciate the thoughts and each to their own of course, it just feels premature in a sport which can throw up some crazy results when least expected.

Tbh my emotions as you know change daily anyway. This is even worse at the minute. I'm celebrating myself one minute then the next remembering it's not done yet.

Such an exciting time and I just wanna celebrate. Its just that bloody requirement to get it over the line first.

I forgot about the coach thing. I like blue action but I’m not overly keen on that move so agree with you there as it’s an action before anything has been achieved

The pitch invasion talk is different as that saying what we may or may not do if and when we win promotion on Saturday.

The coach thing I disagree with but I’m not going to judge anyone for choosing to go along to it. It’s just not for me.

Thank you for that …and trust me I will be looking to try and beat this anxiety. It’s holding me back in life. I’ll probably be the first tub o lard to run onto the pitch on 95mins on Saturday!

Heroes welcome? I thought they were just making people aware when the coach gets to the ground. So positive like minded fans could join in. The club recently said they came to the ground on a route so they could see buildup of fans and get the importance.

Regardless of the result ( we will win), the team deserves our support when they arrive at the ground, so whats the difference between a welcome and a heroes welcome?

I don’t think it’s their style to park the bus. They like to play football. There’s nothing riding on the game for them so I expect them to come and have a go.. which should work in our favour
