The Plymouth phase didn’t seem to be as deep or bitter though. I’m not sure this is something where we can expect people to come out of it gently. We probably need to go cold turkey- Gav could add ‘Sheffield’ and ‘Wednesday’ to the swear filter. That shouldn’t cause any issues while we don’t have any midweek games for a while .

It’s all rather obsessive isn’t it? I pine for the good old days when we were moaning about Leeds fans. And then there was Brighton and the fallout from *that* banner. I’m almost misty eyed over our plucky little Bournemouth phase too.

If it helps, I still dislike Bournemouth.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

But they deserve it - this is the third time they won Division Three this season!

To be fair, it's a win at Wembley and we had one as well in 2000.

If you want REALLY tinpot, Norwich had one for LOSING a playoff final.

Did Norwich really do that, surely not?

I know they had a big bus tour for their cup 'runs' reaching some FA Cup semi finals which is pretty tin pot

They also had a 25 year anniversary for reaching the UEFA Cup third round and list UEFA Cup participation as a club honour

They then have some strange gripe against us putting stars on our shirt with no hint of irony, a massive lack of social awareness on their part, given many of the antics above

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Because I’d be a tad embarrassed. Surely we should all aim higher no ?

Just not for me. Do something off piste or scaled down like a park event but open top bus …no thanks

Of course, but doesn't mean you shouldn't celebrate achievements along the way. Otherwise, what's the point of all this?

Sheff Utd had one for finishing second. I do think it a bit unnecessary but if Utd do it then why not Wednesday.

I'm not sure why, as an Ipswich supporter, it would bother you.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Forgot about Bournemouth that was a great phase! We should pencil in a different club each week until the new season starts. I would like to nominate Watford for July 10th week, shared a house with one of their lot around 2014 and he was a right pain.

Good shout.

Last time I went to Vicarage Road I got verbally abused in a pub because someone didn't like the shape of my ears.

I'm definitely on-board with the Watford phase.
