I don't know, probably some time after those weird posts that start appearing where someone has nothing to complain about, so they create a fictitious negative future event, just to take shots at imaginary people.

Have we not had one yet? Becrying the fact we'd signed players this time last year?

I'm guessing being unsure what division we would be in coupled with holidays etc will mean things are a bit slower this time. Quality over speed every time for me, we saw in January what the right signings can do if we're patient.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

But seriously! Good signing, and bargain at £1m… genuine question I thought the transfer window wasn’t open!!??

The paperwork can't be formally lodged with League until it opens but people are free to agree contracts before that.

His game went down the pan with QPR after Christmas, but their opinion of him on of Loft for Words is marginally more favourable the most of the rest of the players, though that isn’t saying much.

I might be completely wrong, but I think the window never technically closes - you can buy and sell players at any time, but the player’s registration can only be logged during the “windows”, so therefore he can only start to play for his new team then.

£700k seems to be the fee in the media (plus £500k in add-ons). Cheap for a Centre-Back hitting peak years, albeit one whose confidence needs building up again. But that is really what Nigel Pearson is all about….man-managing.

A good start to our window, followed by Aberdeen’s Ross McCrorie last night, and it looks like Haydon Roberts (Brighton loan to Derby) to be announced later today.

I think there’ll be a lull whilst we wait on contract decisions, e.g. Kalas.
