Most exciting signing to disappoint 16:33 - Jul 29 with 6760 views | Stu_boy | Who was the most exciting signing we made that disappointed the most? For me it's a close call between scott fraser and michael chopra
Most exciting signing to disappoint on 12:58 - Jul 30 with 607 views | SE1blue | Nabil Abidallah. I always follow our Dutch signings with great interest and excitement. Our track record signing players from the Netherlands is better than most and with his Ajax background and our scouting connections, was hoping we had found another gem. Nope.

Agree. He never looked happy playing for us, and hade a mistake in him almost every game. Though it has to be said he wasnt helped by our awful defence in that second PL season.

Most exciting signing to disappoint on 00:11 - Jul 30 by Enigma_Blue | Lee Martin |
Lee Martin is a good call. We all hoped once we had a high profile manager, the high profile signings would follow, including some top quality Man Utd starlets. And we got Lee Martin and overspent for the privilege.

Most exciting signing to disappoint on 22:51 - Jul 29 by Churchman | It’s a good point, but when alls said and done Championship level was way beyond Parkin. It was obvious 20 mins into his first game at PR. Not his fault - it’s how it is sometimes. For me though it’s Stuart Slater. Looked the knees of the bee as a young player at West Ham. Stank the place out with us. Weak and ineffective. One of the most disappointing for me was David Norris. At £2m we at last had a goalscoring midfielder. No we didn’t. He just wasn’t very good. |
What a shout with Norris and overall has to be the winner here. The chase by Magilton seemed to go on and on and on during January to get him. Due to the chase I got excited and it was first major Evans money we spent I think and first proper fee since Administration so felt a huge buzz. Turns out he was beyond average and still to this day I couldn't name 3 strengths of his. Evans, Magilton and money just didn't quite click. We pissed it all up the wall.
