He never fulfilled his promise at subsequent clubs either, much like Stuart Slater after his very average spell with us.
Paul Taylor didn’t work out quite as well as I’d hoped : to say the least.

Watched him played at the tip of a midfield diamond in a league cup game. First half he was totally unplayable. Second half, he completely vanished and we lost 2-1.

Not the most exciting but I thought that Amir Karić would be a great signing. Think it was in the Euros that he was bombing up and down the pitch and putting in great crosses.
