Whilst it would be nice - first round of the Carabao Cup v Bristol Rovers wouldn't be a game I'd even consider risking Woolfenden.

I assume League Cup counts as a competiton where you can't play for 3 clubs in a season with - so wouldn't play Baggott to ensure he gets a loan spell with potnetial for us to move him in jan if he is to go out

Mass changes for the Carabao Cup seems as traditional as Boxing Day football now. Think I’d miss it if the teams collectively decided to field their first XI’s. |
As much as looking after those who played on Sunday, it is also about giving minutes to those who might be needed at any time. I am sure the bench will all get a start. The interesting one will be whether Clarke plays and how long he gets if he does. Looking at the team listed, I am keen to see how Taylor, Hutchinson and Edwards get on. |  |
