My company has a new e-learning provider and, to my horror, I had to do one of those slide things the other day. It would seem that you cannot press next until you have watched the video clip in it's entirety and some of these clips are over 10-15 mins long. Bloody annoying. So where before, I was able to breeze through in under 5 mins, I'm now taking between 1-3 hours.

I do wonder if it was getting a bit suspicious as my line manager would get an e-mail whenever I completed a course and receiving three separate ones in one afternoon maybe hinted I wasn't paying attention properly. All seems a bit pointless really, especially as you had unlimited attempts at the quiz afterwards to get the pass score.

I can't remember the last time I actually did a face-face, group training session. It was probably even a few years pre-covid.
