He hasn't gone. There is just an agreement for him to go if the right deal comes in and they have agreed not to play him until sorted (either if he stays or goes) because you can only play for two clubs in a season so could mess stuff up e.g. if we loan him somewhere and want to sell in Jan. | |

I get the impression that his role these days is purely as a sub - but a very important one - who can come on with 30 mins to go, help things calm down & stay solid esp if there's only one goal in it either way, but also get us a goal or an assist for one. | |
