Those waving the EU flag in the Royal Albert Hall appeared to outnumber those waving the union flag at the event" Everything today is woke, they want to cancel everything, bleat the righties or “BBC must investigate how so many EU flags were waved & on display at The Last Night of the Proms. Disgraceful & misguided BBC messing up a British tradition" Only in the crazed, paranoid mind of the rightie would you imagine that the BBC was responsible for deciding who waves what flags. The Last Night has always seen a plethora of non Union Jacks on display. So why now the blub Could it be that the bigots don't want it seen they are now in the minority ? Much as the diminutive Sunak has been at the G20 in India. What part will the now isolated UK play in the Partnership for Global Infrastructure Investment ? Where is the much talked about UK/India trade deal ? Supposedly agreed and signed last October. Shunted to one side, as with the 'bigly' UK/US deal supposed to be signed the day after the UK formally left the EU ? Where once the UK sat at the top table, and would have had a say in the above agreement, it is now having to accept terms dictated to it by third world countries. Out of 72 trade deals since brexit. 69 have been rollovers of previous EU deals. So why does Harry keep using the term "biggoted righties" for example? Bigotted I take it to mean racist? And righties? Well there are plenty of EU sceptics on the left side of politics also. And yes, it is the standard argument put out as the main reason for voting for Brexit.

Problem is, a lot of leave voters, and I am including family members in this, didn't have the brain capacity to understand this level of reasoning and just grunt "migrants" |
MattinLondon... My point proven, thank you TractorBrew.

Well sadly, he is typical though of the remain point of view as to why people voted for Brexit.

It’s not at all proven. It’s quite understandable that many have reservations regarding the possible federalisation of the EU. And in countries who are seen as traditionally pro-EU, many still view Brussels with suspicion. Bit within the UK, we had the opt-out, we could stay out of the EU if so desired do leaving it made no sense to me - and still doesn’t.

But that’s like saying ‘I voted remain, because I’m angry that the Daily Mail called supporters of the EU, traitors’. It makes no sense. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Matt always sticks up for Harry. Most 'left' leaning people on here keep there distance from Harry, bearing in mind his record of racist posts, misogyny and body shaming. However, seeing his offensive comment about Nazis and banter last week has has convinced me that they are very suitable bedfellows.

Given the rotting state of the UK, our corrupt, incompetent, couldn’t care less politicians, stagnant economy, lousy and failing services, decaying infrastructure, environment literally full of sh1t, planned deregulation to benefit those in power, and a consequently rather depressed population of Plague Island, it would have been just too horribly ironic for me.

Like a third rate George of the Jungle, Gbeebies comes swinging through the trees and collides with one. I have defended Harry on a couple of occasions in much the same way that you defended Benters - and I have also criticised him as well. As someone who has experienced racism on various occasions - especially in youth- I find your rather cowardly third way accusations of racism to be deeply disgusting. [Post edited 11 Sep 2023 14:11]

I see what you did there - comparing people who are left of you to the German air force. Bad taste.

Steve Bray has been one of the few people who’s regularly stood up in the public eye to challenge Tory politicians in the absence of msm journalists with the guts or backing to do so. Your dissing of him is pretty shameful really.

You call trying to trespass onto private property to intrude on a wedding and travelling to Wales to invade a party dinner "standing up in the public eye"? Well i guess it is but certainly doesnt help his cause. Lol, imagine looking up to that guy.

Indeed, there was complete confusion about the nature of the ECHR and many who voted Brexit thought that by leaving the EU we would be rid of the ECHR. [Post edited 11 Sep 2023 13:38]

I think it’s due to the fact that the PM didn’t condemn BJ for such behaviour but has criticised the waving of those flags.
