Looked much better when Evans went off (unfortunately for him).

Hladky, bloody hell where are these saves coming from!?!

Undeniably true. Evans was probably the wrong call but a great result.

Yes, Luongo made a difference when the deeper man.

The thing with both him and Morsy is that they hang on to the ball, which gives the team much more composure.

Evans's instinct, by contrast, is to pass the ball as soon as he gets it.

Take an away point before two in a row at home. Always going to get scrappy games where you don't play well so did well to find an equaliser.

Always thought the raving about Evans last season was way overdone and don't rate him for us at this level. Be good to have Morsy back on Tuesday.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Had a bad feeling about today so will happily take the salvaged point and move on. Nice one Brandy. Moore was always going to be difficult so fair play to him.

Most frustrating thing about it is that we couldn't capitalise on Preston and Leeds' poor results today. Wouldn't put it past Blackburn to upset Leicester tomorrow. On to the next one.

Yeah, I think Evans has had his day here.

I think Evans time is done here. A good player on his day but Ball, Taylor and arguably Humphreys offer better options relating to McKenna's style. I can understand why McKenna opted against Taylor but would have preferred to see Ball get the run out instead.

I was pleased for Evans that he got the nod today. But sadly he didn’t really grab his chance and picked up yet another injury to boot. Will we see him again? I’m not sure.

Funnily enough, I had a bad feeling about this game too. Moore’s first game, players proving themselves, the sheer fact we’ve started so well. So yes, take a hard fought point and move on. In normal times, that’s a good result.

Other results? Not worried. Let’s get to 45 points ASAP and see where we go from there. Surprised Leeds lost and Preston took such a drubbing.

See Evans is this week's fall guy. He had a tough time of it today...
It was Taylor's turn, away at Saints and today hes getting praised...
TBF, its not rocket science for Darren Moore to target that area of the pitch, and try to overrun us in MF with Morsy not playing..
Clarke didn't have his best game either, but he'll have a blinder at PR, I'm sure.
KM is getting a lot out of our group of players on the whole. Way, way beyond my early season expectations..

Agreed, the lads are doing brilliantly. Nine games in, where we are in the table is beyond my wildest dreams.

Are we just only supposed to discuss positives?

He and Clarke had a poor game, I don't think it's wrong to discuss it.

Are we not allowed to suggest, that highlighting negatives isn't really the way to go..?
I get a bit protective when any of our players get called out in a negative way. Especially when they are seriously outperforming the sum of all their parts, as a group... I can't help that , I'm afraid.. So don't take it personally.

Is it better then if we phrase it a different way but positively.

It was great how slow yet calm Evans was on the ball. He also didnt want to hurt anyone so wasnt quite getting those 2nd balls. His 30 yard long ball attempts were excellently directed onto the heads of the Huddersfield players or into the fans for them to catch, that was nice of him.

Clarke was really nice to the huddersfield players and gave them lots of room to hurt us. It made the huddersfield players gain some belief and they did it over and over again but they'll sleep well tonight with all that effort.

I liked the way burns was neither attacking or defending. He stood on the halfway line which was great for those on the bench to chat too during the game. He also showed the various levels of crossing heights that can be used during a game. It was quite impressive the amount that went nowhere just to keep huddersfield guessing.

Clearly I'm messing about here in some way. But come on. There are positives and negatives in football.

Yeah, I think Evans has had his day here.

He’s miles off what we need in there really. I try and give the benefit of the doubt but I think for the most part he’s been pretty poor since he joined. There was a spell last season where he looked OK but frankly alongside Morsy in League 1 I think he was playing a nice hand. I would have him behind all 4 of Luongo, Morsy, Taylor and Ball and perhaps even Humphreys too. I don’t see him as a Championship player and wouldn’t be surprised if that’s his last league start in a Town shirt.

Well that doesn't make sense even by your own weird logic. Evans has hardly played!!!

Well, there are tactful ways of putting things, I guess... Sometimes it feels like the knives are out on certain players imo. I just find it hard to wade in on any of them. They've given us a lot over the last 18mnths. Every one of them, and deserve a bit of slack for the odd out of sorts performance.... It's not like they are hanging around on big money , not giving a fk about the club and fans. I think the effort is there. And when we dont get 3pts from every game, which we wont. Is there any need to find a scapegoat every time? We're top of the league btw.

As said before. Not just on here but in pubs etc. Sport Isn't just about watching it. Its the discussion points after. Players know what. It's expected. Its normal.

Agreed. Was good first half of last season for the most part (but next to Morsy) but his time here is up.

For me the big thing with having Evans in the team we on the eye appear to miss physicality getting around the pitch and he’s more of deeper lying player than Morsy so doesn’t get up and back so much.

I personally don’t see much of a future here medium to long term, it wouldn’t surprise me if he left in Jan, but I thought he would be off in the summer, so who knows.
