I don't understand why people think the game would be called off because fans can't make it? So long as the pitch and surrounding areas are okay, then I can't for the life of me see why they'd call it off. |

Rotherham released a statement earlier today saying the game is due to go ahead. I'm pretty certain if conditions have worsened as bad as people are making out, then a decision will be made shortly.
But if anyone thinks the game will get called off because the fans can't make it, whilst all other aspects are considered okay for the game to ahead, as Arnie says, 'laughable'. [Post edited 20 Oct 2023 16:49]

Rotherham released a statement earlier today saying the game is due to go ahead. I'm pretty certain if conditions have worsened as bad as people are making out, then a decision will be made shortly.

Well quite, and I'm not disputing that. But given the lack of communication from Rotherham or Town in the last few hours, we can only assume the game (and surrounding areas are deemed safe) is playable.
I appreciate it could go to the wire, with plenty of games getting called off when they've even started, but if everything is deemed acceptable, it will go ahead regardless of whether fans can make it (even more so given it's on Sky). | |
