Tonight's Game 16:19 - Oct 20 with 1483 viewscressi

Got a feeling they have got this wrong and its going to get called off when people have travelled in awful conditions.

Weather forecast for Rotherham is not great at all. More rain until at least midnight.

Are they really"bursting their banks?"
An overused phrase that usually implies that the rivers have overflowed their banks. Nothing has burst has it?

People always speculate games will get called off and they rarely do. I doubt they would have put out that statement earlier if they didn't think they could handle it.

We will see.

Truly impaired.

We need to stop crying and admit the game is on, if you don’t want to travel, watch it on tv.

RIP Sir Bobby

Apparently the River Don has indeed burst its banks in places.

Neighbouring Derbyshire now declaring a major incident - serious flooding in Chesterfield.

"A major incident has been declared in Derbyshire due to the impact of #StormBabet
Most roads in Derbyshire are affected by flooding and many are closed. Do not attempt to travel on them!
We are calling for people to follow this advice to keep safe:
• Do not travel unless essential from now until further information is available later in the weekend. Continue to watch weather and flooding updates.
• Look out for vulnerable neighbours, especially if they have care services who may not be able to reach them.
• Never drive or walk into floodwater, even if it appears shallow – it could endanger your life."

There are people who do want to travel and as a result of conditions, can't.

Stop acting a tit.
