They have done the job to win the game. It wasn't entertaining, no. Which more entertaining players did they have available? I don't think changing the personnel would have made it any more entertaining just, potentially embarrassing. An England shirt should be an honour that is earned not just given to some younger players for a change.
If the penalty had been awarded as it should have been and the goal not ruled out by VAR for a dubious offside, a 4-0 win would have looked more comfortable but, aside from the first minute it hasn't looked like anything other than an England win. | |
