I watched it earlier.. Couple of hysterical lefty women screaming over everyone. The dark haired one just kept say me me me, I, I ,I..... I'm not a big fan of Joey Barton. But at least he had some decorum and stood up for his opinions without the need to act like a spoiled, screaming, school child. On principle, I agree with him, in that , any job role should be had on merit. Whether that be by a male or female.. People shouldn't be cancelled for having an opinion.
Like I said earlier, my newsfeed is very mixed, and that's the way I like it.. I've seen as many people backing Barton as I have condemning him.. |

I think that it’s good to check the source of any newsfeed - for example a far-right outlet might well not be the best place to go to for balance. A quick google check will tell you a lot about a journalist or news source which you might well not have been aware of.
Back to the story that you’ve linked - it must have been quite distressing for those teenage girls to get changed and shower with someone who hasn’t transitioned. I fully understand why the girls parents would be alarmed. But it appears to be an isolated case - or one of a very few cases worldwide.
